Patrick Zagarella

Hi, my name is Patrick, and I’m a fourth-year Industrial Design student at Swinburne University of Technology.

Throughout my studies I’ve developed a strong interest in the technical side of design, including CAD modelling, manufacturing details, rendering, and product visualization. I enjoy finding the balance between creativity and precision, and I take pride in turning ideas into practical, well-resolved outcomes.

Growing up in a family of doctors and nurses sparked my fascination with the connection between healthcare and design. This interest led me to focus my thesis on improving the design and usability of injector pens.

I believe that good design should solve real problems and make everyday life easier. Research, development, and careful attention to detail guide the way I approach each project. As I move forward, I hope to continue designing products that genuinely improve people’s lives.

It aims to support the millions of individuals worldwide who rely on injector pens but struggle to operate them due to hand dexterity challenges, such as arthritis or trigger finger.

All bowls in the set have a divider creating a number of smaller sections, including a two section, three section and four section bowl. They are designed for picky eaters, with the dividers preventing foods from mixing while maintaining Country Road's design language.

The Solis is a solar powered light made for the outdoors. The light has an arm on either side of it's body, designed to attach to most carabiners and then effortlessly onto a backpack, rope or tent. Made from 3mm polyethylene and polycarbonate for the clear lens, this light would survive any knocks or drops camping has to offer.
