Thitirat Kittikornvanich

Hi there, this is Kiki. I am graduating in UX and Interaction Design with a background in Graphic Design and Art Direction. I hold another Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Design (2019), which built my foundation in storytelling, composition, and visual thinking. My creative journey began in the design and advertising industry, where I gained experience communicating through visuals, motion, and rhythm. Over time, my curiosity grew toward how design could do more than attract attention. I became interested in interface design and how it could connect people, simplify interactions, and quietly improve everyday life.

That curiosity led me to study UX and Interaction Design at Swinburne, where I explored how human-centred thinking and digital systems come together. My work now blends visual design and interaction, focusing on clarity, empathy, and intuitive experience. I am driven by continuous learning and love discovering new ways to turn insights into thoughtful digital experiences, whether that is a niche app, an interactive story, or a responsive prototype. Collaboration, aesthetics, and experimentation sit at the heart of my process. I see every project as an opportunity to explore how design can feel honest, inclusive, creative, and alive. I’m so excited to keep exploring how design can creatively connect people through narrative and experience in Australia.

Tonight again - Geo location base app

Tonight Again builds on the concept of narrative mapping, guiding users through poetic clues to uncover a hidden love story tied to real Melbourne locations that have stood the test of time. Each site is concealed within the narrative itself, encouraging the city’s night riders to slow down, read, and rediscover familiar streets in a new nostalgic light. The project transforms narrative into experience, blending fiction with geography to explore how digital design can turn storytelling into a participatory journey through emotion, memory, and place.

Goodbye to all that - Interactive online publication

Goodbye to All That reinterprets Robert Graves’ 1929 memoir for a contemporary audience through an interactive narrative website. The project translates a classic text into a digital experience that invites reflection on the meaning of goodbye — not as an ending, but as a transformation of identity and perspective. By connecting Graves’ post-war disillusionment to today’s ongoing cycles of change, the work offers a modern lens on loss, renewal, and the passage of time, showing how design and interactivity can revive the emotional relevance of a historical text.

Chalks - Social Bouldering app

Chalks was developed as part of an exploration into indoor climbing culture, responding to gaps in existing tools like Stokt and Toplogger, which focus heavily on route-setting. The project brings together progress tracking, Kilter-style set creation, gym updates, and a climber-led community board - all within a modern, intuitive interface designed for casual beta sharing and staying connected, even for those who don’t always speak up. It explores how digital design can strengthen community and motivation in indoor climbing, addressing the question of how UX can make progress tracking and social interaction feel more natural and inclusive. By combining route creation, personal stats, and shared discussion in one cohesive system, Chalks turns quiet observation into connection, supporting climbers of all levels to learn, share, and grow together.

ThaiWander - Food guide website

ThaiWander is inspired by the global popularity for Thai cuisine. It brings together Melbourne’s best street bites, nearby and hidden favourites in one. Real-time updates prioritise what’s open right now (from night riders insights), with the ability to save spots for later visit. The design aims to capture the Asian culture of sharing and vibrant taste of Thai cuisine.

Boulder Festival Project

This festival website project is inspired by my passion for indoor bouldering. It was created as a concept for a bouldering festival, bringing together event details, interactive maps, and a merch section in one lively platform. The design captures what bouldering is all about... a friendly vibe, a fun activity, and awesome people. It makes it easy for climbers to explore events, stay connected, and find festival information online. A zine booklet was also created for the festival, which can be found on my personal folio site.
